Volunteer Day: Creating 'scallops' and paths in bramble and bracken to boost biodiversity at Chapel Carn Brea

Wednesday 29th January 2020, 10:00am to 3:00pm

Join our volunteers this Wednesday 29th January as they visit Chapel Carn Brea Farm to create 'scallops' and paths through bracken and bramble. This work will help boost this important wildlife site and create habitats for a range of creatures including invertebrates, reptiles, birds and fungi.

We will start work on site at 10am and finish at 3pm. If you would like to join us please get in touch first as parking is limited and we will be arranging lift sharing wherever possible.

As with all our volunteer days we will supply the tools and training you need, we just ask that you come with sensible clothing, a packed lunch and tons of enthusiasm!

This work helps support our Wild Penwith project- you can find out more here. If you have never volunteered with us before and would like to find out more, make sure you visit our volunteer pages.
