Introduction to Insect Identification workshop - FULLY BOOKED

A beginners level workshop where you will learn to recognise some of the main insect groups, including how to distinguish hoverflies from bees and wasps, dragonflies from damselflies, grasshoppers from crickets, and beetles from bugs. There will be a short indoor session, learning the anatomy of insects and practising identifications from photos, followed by a walk putting your new-found insect identification skills into practice in the field..
This workshop will take place on 9th July, 10am - 3pm at Sancreed Village Hall.
Please bring with you suitable footwear for walking, weather-appropriate clothing, sunscreen, face mask & hand sanitiser (dependent on prevailing Covid restrictions at the time), and a packed lunch.
