Access and Ancient Sites

Penwith has one of the highest concentrations of ancient archaeological sites in Europe. As part of our work programme we worked with many of these, helping to clear sites of vegetation as well as surveying, condition monitoring and historical research; supported by our partner CASPN.

Our work on access paths has provided trails linking these ancient sites as well as the beautiful landscape of Penwith, and helped improve and clear blocked access paths.

To find out more about our projects in this area explore the links below. You can also learn more on our Trails and Ancient Sites page.
